Games I'm looking forward to

Besides my current Cookie Run Addiction, there are three games coming out (one already out but becoming available on steam i think on the 29th.)
Infinity Nikki: I swear not all I play is gacha games ( not that I'm judging those who do. ) , but open world fashion related game sounds like fun.
Fantasy Life the girl who steals time: I played the first of these games on I think it was the 3ds so many years ago, and I adored that game. Cure characters designs, many jobs for a character and you don't have to choose just one. and the mini games with the crafting skills. Looking forward to this sequel.
Date Everything: I love a dating game or two. and the idea of humanized versions of everything in your house (and i think they are... at least a 100 characters. Not sure how true that is or if all characters are dateable. But it looks interesting. And lots of cool voice actors in this game.

on 2025-04-27 01:01 am (UTC)As for Infinity Nikki, I'm aware of some of the previous games, more so since I have a friend who loves one of the older ones. I never played them though. Approximate knowledge here lol. But I do love the idea of magic fashion world.

on 2025-04-27 01:47 am (UTC)I've only played the one 2D game, and boy, the number of times the world ended or someone died is insane. A friend is more caught up on the ins and outs of things, but the death, murder, and war angles are wild to even think of coming from a dress-up game.

on 2025-04-27 02:53 am (UTC)It's always wild when the style and general theme of a game doesn't match up with the story and character themes (some of Cookie Run's writing, more so in the beast yeast chapters are a example I'm thinking of. It's wild.)

on 2025-04-28 10:18 am (UTC)- a cookie that learned that cookies were made to be eaten and basically split into two different cookies and one version is the main big bad because of it.
- a sickness that made cookies cough up flour and look forward to "oblivion" to turn back into flour.
- a cookie that was basically... a sort of abundance/creation deity but got bored of how the cycle of creation and ending kept happening with civilizations. So started destroying everything. There are spice storms in his area that are made up of the crumbs of cookies that had been crumbled at his hands.
It's all kind of funny because the game kind of starts mainly with hah hah, the cake hound stole a crown. Let's chase him and get it back.
Suddenly... main characters involved with a war?
And I don't think they've caught that original cake hound yet. It's wild.

on 2025-04-29 02:43 am (UTC)I'm personally here for both angst and fun fluff vibes. Both in fic I write and engaging with the rest of the fandom in general.
Also love that there are a bunch of interesting ships in this fandom. One of the more popular ones as of late as Shadow Milk Cookie/Pure Vanilla cookie which... depends on how one wants to tackle that pairing can be sweet or not. I like either way to ship it honestly.
If you ever decide to give the game a try (it can be played on the phone but also you can get the google play store app on computer and play the game through there.) I can suggest don't even bother buying anything like gems because it's honestly really good about doling out gems, and other things in game without paying a dime.
Also friends can only friend folks on the same server so if you join in and go to the dark cacao server, i'll be glad to friend you on there.
