Title: Heart On Your Chest, Not your Sleeves.
Fandom: The adventures of Screw On Head
Pairing: Implications of Screw On Head and Emperor Zombie. I know I'm odd, shut up.
Rating: to be safe, PG13
Warnings: well, an implies a relationship between a robot and zombie. Thought i'd warn for that.
Summery: Screw On Head has an introspective moment about him and Emperor Zombie.
They say some people wear their hearts on their sleeves. Screw On Head had heard that expression many times before. Not that Screw On Head wore whatever was considered his heart on his non existing sleeves since he didn't wear clothing. Sure, he was very open when it came to his pride of keeping America safe. After all, it was a noble and worthwhile cause.
Sometimes though, his thoughts would catch up with him. He had been a hundred years old already when he started his job. He had seen much changes in that time. But he had hardly ever changed. How could one go forward without knowing their past after all?
Who made him? Why did he exist?
He had asked those questions to himself many times. And once, he had asked what was now Emperor Zombie. Before being involved in evil, Zombie had actually been a good person to share problems with. When Screw On Head had expressed his slight bit of angst, Zombie ( Screw On Head had banished his real name from his head years ago. Zombie was not the same person he knew) put a hand where a humans heart would be located. His words then stayed with Screw On Head.
“Does it matter?”
Those little words meant something to Screw On Head. Maybe that's why it hurt sometimes when he had to fight against Zombie.
That mattered.
